It took us several weeks to figure out the mail around here... well, we didn't really figure anything out, you just wait and wait to see if something finds it way to your door!
First, my sister had sent a card for Alex that never showed up. We couldn't understand why? I mean, surely it's not hard to find the Americans on our street :o)
Then we received a card from Franklin's parents, so we were encouraged that at least the mailman ~ I'm sure that's not what he's called here ~ knows where to find us! So, finally after about two weeks, we got our first package from my parents!
It's interesting to find new things and try them to see what they are or if you would want to buy it again. Then, there are other things that you can't find here and could never be replaced from the States. Even if we could find something from the States here, it's considered "imported" and going to cost way too much to buy on our limited budget! So, even though my mom didn't think what she sent was very exciting... a few taco seasonings, baking mixes, and yummy candy will go a long way to bring a smile on our faces these days!
Thank you, Mom and Dad, for our goodies! We Love You!!
