The other night, Alex was getting ready for bed. He came out of his room with just his pajama pants on and so I told him to go back and put a shirt on. He looked at me with those pretty, blue eyes and said "Daddy doesn't wear a shirt to bed, so I don't want to wear a shirt to bed anymore... I want to be just like Daddy!" He very much is, in more ways than one, and I am blessed to have two "men" in the house! Before we know it... he'll be shaving :o)
Getting ready for bed is a lot of fun... but a process with Alex.
First a bath, then he brushes his teeth.
He moves really slow in doing everything!
Then we have to make sure all of his bedtime buddies
are ready to go to sleep with him!
He wanted you to meet his "friends"...

Wait a minute... that's my Chick-fil-A cow!
Crabby, Mr. Ot, and
Nemo gets to sleep on the bed...
What a lucky fish!
Oh... and don't forget the frog blanket!
He is convinced that they leap off
during the night and have a party in his room :o)
I haven't heard any noise coming from there yet...
Finally, after all that...
we read one book and say goodnight prayers.
Then it's time for Alex to close his eyes
and go to sleep...
